For them, Mussoorie is worth a visit for honeymoon makers as it is very close to other enchanting cities like Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun. That way, couples can go around a bit, they say. “Mountains always fascinate honeymoon makers as weather is romantic and one could feel the romance in air too,” he says.
Sharing their experience in Nainital, Ritesh Tandon who owns three chicken fabric shops in the city grumbles about time. In domestic honeymoon destination Nainital, Shimla and Mussoorie soar on the top on hottest honeymoon spots amongst its cool and nippy climate and that’s the foremost reason why many travel agencies are offering various honeymoon packages.
But how can you miss to take stroll through sweetly scented sandalwood flaming rhododendrons or cool pines, watching a fetching sunset from a seashore and going along on a relaxing cuisine through quite backwaters. Thrilled by all this? Going to South India is neither a bad idea nor expensive.
Newly wed Neetu Vashnay and Laxmikant Vashnay are trying to choose between Goa and Rohtang. Says Neetu, “In Rohtang, we can throw snowballs on each other, away from dreadful summers. We will go to a cool and romantic place where we can get easy accommodation, privacy and available tickets.”
